Like many developing countries, the river basin is suffering from pollution as a result of human activities such as industries as well as domestic wastes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DANIDA Environmental Support Programme 3 in Indonesia has identified the need to establish a coherent and integrated data management system for managing environmental related data for river basins in Central Java, with Bengawan Solo river basin as one of the pilot to be implemented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eco-Ideal team participated in a workshop held in Solo, Central Jaya of Indonesia on 8 July 2014. The workshop involved more than 30 participants from 22 different provincial and district level authorities in Central Java.
